Project Profile
Huanglong Sports Center is the largest and most comprehensive modern sports facility in Zhejiang Province. It is a multi-functional place integrating sports competitions, artistic performances, fitness and entertainment, catering and accommodation, business office and shopping exhibitions. Its main stadium has become one of the landmark buildings of Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City. After 20 years of operation, some venues' functions, infrastructure and operational mechanisms have fallen short of the requirements of the new era. As one of the main venues for the Hangzhou Asian Games, this presents an opportunity for Huanglong Sports Center to undergo a transformative change. Following renovation, the venue has taken on a new look and is committed to meeting the standards set by the Asian Games as it enters into a new era.

PART2 Roof Features 1:
This is a renovation project where the original construction scheme utilized a roll formed steel roof. Through redesign, the roof has been transformed into an aluminum magnesium manganese standing seam roof, resulting in significant improvements to both performance and aesthetic effect of the entire project.
PART3 Roof Features 2:
The entire roof of the building is designed in a hyperbolic form, with a high point at the center and gradually sloping sides that seamlessly connect to create an overall effect that is heavily influenced by the design of the roof panels. To ensure this effect is achieved, we have implemented a fan panel layout scheme for all roofing materials, with board lines arranged symmetrically along the central axis to produce an aesthetically result.
PART4 Project Challenges:
The fixed points of the roof panel are located in the spatial position of the purlin and must be combined with modeling software for lofting analysis. By combining the theoretical value of the model with the actual installation error of the purlin on site, different points at the end of the purlin can be identified to complete payout positioning for fixing seats.
Combined with the roof panel at the upper and lower end of the fixed seat point with the line to find the middle position of the fixed seat, the completion of the roof fixed seat payout, to ensure the installation of the roof panel accuracy.
PART5 Metal Roof Solution:
Hoogovens' professional technical team effectively resolved all encountered project issues through meticulous design and arrangement.
