Project Introduction


Hainan Ecological Wisdom International School is located in Hainan Ecological Smart New City, a high-tech industry demonstration zone in the old town of Chengmai County, Hainan Province. The total land area is 133,952㎡, and the total construction area is 130,430㎡. It is invested and constructed by Hainan Ecological Software Park. As an educational support for the park, it radiates to the whole province of Hainan and at home and abroad, covering primary/junior/senior grade 12 and international department. The school draws on excellent educational ideas at home and abroad, integrates domestic and foreign cutting-edge scientific and technological enterprises and human resources, uses innovative systems and mechanisms, unique school-running concepts and models, and uses cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence to empower education, transform traditional education models, and cultivate innovative talents. Create an international school brand that is based on Chinese traditional culture and family and country education and is oriented to the future and the world.



The building structure of this project is reinforced concrete frame shear wall structure system + steel truss structure system + steel grid structure system. The total area of the metal roof is 28,124 square meters. The building units mainly include: the teaching building of the middle school, the apartment of the middle school, the teaching building of the elementary school, the apartment of the elementary school, the playground and the sports park, etc.

Roof Panel Selection

According to the geographical environment and climatic conditions of the project location, perennial rainstorms and strong winds make the metal roof system need to consider high waterproof performance. This project adopts a first-class waterproof metal roof system, that is, a two-layer waterproof system composed of a rigid waterproof outer metal panel and a flexible waterproof layer of EPDM, which meets the requirements of the "Technical Standards for Building Metal Enclosure System Engineering". At the same time, when choosing a metal roof panel type, it should be considered that it has a high drainage capacity and a strong sense of line, and it needs to have strong wind resistance. According to the above requirements, choose H65/400 aluminum-magnesium-manganese roof panel, which is the classic patented panel of Hoogovens. This panel adopts the advanced standing seam connection method, and there is no screw penetration after installation, which eliminates the hidden danger of water leakage caused by self-tapping screws penetrating the roof. It also has excellent water tightness, rain and snow penetration resistance, and excellent wind resistance. On-site pressing services can be provided according to the needs of the project to avoid longitudinal lapping of roof panels.

Anti-condensation design:

Through the design and calculation of the system structure, the insulation layer and the vapor barrier layer are set;


The aluminum-zinc-coated profiled steel panel is used as the first vapor barrier layer, which is firmly fixed and can adapt to structural deformation;


As the second vapor barrier layer, the vapor barrier film is lapped according to the specification requirements to ensure the length of the lap, and the lap joint is sealed with butyl sealing tape;


The rock wool insulation layer is laid in two layers with staggered seams to ensure continuity, compactness and no gaps;


All components penetrating the insulation layer and connecting to the outdoors shall adopt reliable anti-cold and thermal bridge measures;


Hoogovens special high-strength aluminum alloy clips between the structure are added with thermal insulation pads.

Anti-wind design:

Since Hainan Province, where the project is located, is prone to typhoons, the windproof design of the metal roof system is extremely important. This project strengthens the windproof ability of the metal roof system by encrypting the purlin spacing, using Hoogovens patented panel type HGV65/400 aluminum-magnesium-manganese roof panels and special high-strength aluminum alloy clips, using imported professional high-precision edge locking equipment, and the roof is covered with Hoogovens patented wind-resistant clips (tenon-tenon type).


Among them, the role of Hoogovens patented anti-wind clamp is particularly important, and its characteristics are as follows:


 

The wind resistance ability of the roof panel is significantly improved. According to the test, the wind resistance capacity of the roof panels installed with wind-resistant clips is more than 5 times higher than that of roof panels without wind-resistant clips.


Long term reliability. Adopting the design concept of traditional Chinese mortise and tenon structure, the components are tightly connected to prevent the wind-resistant clamp from loosening under long-term repeated loads and avoid functional failure.


Beautiful shape. The ribs of the roof panels are arc-shaped, and the wind-resistant clips are also smooth and streamlined, which are harmonious and beautiful together.


Economical and practical. The wind-resistant clamp structure is lightweight, reducing the amount of aluminum profiles. Therefore, the impact on the cost of the entire roof system is minimal.

Lightning protection design:


According to the "Code for Lightning Protection Design of Buildings" GB 50057-2010, this project belongs to the second category of lightning protection buildings. The aluminum alloy roof panel can be used as a lightning protection lightning receptor, and the galvanized flat steel is used as a lightning protection "down conductor". The grid spacing is ≤10mx10m.

The order of lightning current guidance is: aluminum alloy roof panel → aluminum alloy clips → lightning protection "down conductor" → several-shaped steel lining purlin → secondary purlin → main purlin → steel structure → main lightning protection system → grounding wire.
